History

FAWN-DOE-ROSA first opened in
the Spring of 1963.
It is privately owned and operated by our family.
Generations of love and care have gone into FAWN-DOE-ROSA. We work with conservation departments, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and rehabilitators; as we share the goal of animal care and education.

Many of the animals you will see have been hand raised by us. Hours of love and care have gone into each of our animals. Some of our animals have been brought to us as orphans or had been injured. We believe wild animals need to be respected and it is best for them to stay in their natural environment.

FAWN-DOE-ROSA has a release program where we try to return animals back to their natural homes. However, some animals are unable to be released. These animals become members of our FAWN-DOE-ROSA family.

Our purpose is to help educate others about animals and nature. As you walk our trails through our wooded park, or sit on a bench to relax, take your time to enjoy the animals. They have so much to share. If you have any questions, please ask our crew who are throughout our park.

We hope you have a day of family fun and enjoy your visit with us.

From our family to yours,
The FAWN-DOE-ROSA family
